South Korea aims to vaccinate 60 to 70 percent of the population against Covid to form herd immunity by November this year.
That’s according to the KDCA Commissioner, Dr. Jung Eun-kyeong speaking to parliament on Friday.
She said healthcare workers and older citizens will be prioritized in getting vaccinated.
South Korea reported 674 new Covid-19 cases today marking a daily average for the week at around 700slightly down from the triple digit increase that we saw in the last few weeks.
There were 35 deaths raising the death toll to 1- thousand -and 81.
