With the number of COVID-19 cases continuing to surge, all law courts across South Korea have been advised to close for the next three weeks.
With the exception of urgent matters such as arrests and court injunction requests under strict quarantine measures, the Supreme Court today advised judges to actively consider delaying or rescheduling trials starting tomorrow.
Court officials will be advised to work from home at least twice a week and not to travel out of town.
