The South Korean government is set to reveal its additional procurement plans with potential COVID-19 vaccine suppliers.
Earlier this month, local health authorities said they were planning to secure vaccines for 44 million people, starting from the first quarter of next year.
One of the pharmaceutical companies named was the British drugmaker AstraZeneca.
The announcement will be made during an online briefing scheduled for 10:50 AM, Korea time.
