President Moon Jae-in will hold talks with China’s top diplomat Wang Yi at the Blue House on Thursday afternoon.
Likely high on the agenda, is a possible visit to South Korea by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
They are also likely to talk about cooperation on COVID-19, issues of bilateral interest and Korean Peninsula affairs.
Moon last met Wang in December last year during his official visit to Seoul.
Wang will arrive in South Korea on Wednesday for a three day visit.
On Thursday, he will also meet with Seoul’s Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha.
