Today, on the last day of the Chuseok holiday, South Korea reported 64 new cases of COVID-19.
47 of them were local and 17 were imported, bringing the total to date to 24,91.
The number of new cases has been below a hundred for four consecutive days.
35 new cases were in the capital region 16 in Seoul, 14 in Gyeonggi-do Province and 5 in Incheon.
One new death was reported, bringing the death toll to 4-hundred-21.
The number of new cases is significantly lower now than in the most recent peak in mid-August when there were more than 4-hundred a day.
But with people now returning to Seoul from their holiday travels, the health authorities are worried there could be another spike in cases.
