Unidentified gunmen have reportedly kidnapped two South Korean nationals in waters off Ghana.
According to Seoul’s foreign ministry, a Ghanaian-flagged fishing vessel was attacked in waters two-hundred kilometers southeast of the coastal city Tema on Friday.
Unknown pirates only abducted the two Koreans from among the 50 crewmen on board the vessel AP 703.
The incident came just two months after five Korean sailors were abducted in waters off Benin in Western Africa.
They were released in southern Nigeria a month later.
